We had a comfy King-sized bed, with plenty of room around the bed that didn't impact on the rest of the room, we also had room for our luggage without it being a trip hazard when trying to access your clothes etc. The bathroom facilities were very good, and you always remember a good shower, and our shower was great. You also remember if the place you stay in is clean and we were very pleased to see that our room and bathroom were very clean, but also the entire complex was at the same high standard. All the staff seemed to be very proud of the Hotel, and this showed in their friendly caring treatment to us. My wife and I really enjoyed our evening dinner, the other guests also seemed very happy and raved about their meal to us, which was great free advertising, and our waitress was so nice and helpful, it really did make our night.

loved how smooth the check in process was. the guy working that day was super friendly. also cracked some jokes with us. loved that there was parking everywhere especially near our rooms. rooms were beautiful and always clean. had the best time there. my aircon broke down and I was taken care of straight away. the restaurant was amazing and so was the breakfast buffet. exceptional service given at the hotel! will definitely be staying there again when I visit Ashburton again

We were there when it had very cold days. The heat pump was never turned off. The bed was comfortable and the shower was OK. Receptionist made a great pot of tea. We had breakfast each day which set us up for the rest of the day.

We had deluxe king and it was a nice size room and faced inwards to the gardens. The sun shone on opening the curtains in the morning which was great Comfy pillows, bed was medium comfort (not too hard or soft). We had the breakfast inhouse in the morning in restaurant. Very good value - $21 for a cooked buffet breakfast, $27 for full buffet with cereals and fruit etc, or you can just have continental for cheaper. Breakfast buffet was very delicious. Good to get from our room at one end to the other end and conference room internally. Plenty of good parking

Comfy bed, decent bathroom facilities. Was only a stopover for me so it had all the important things covered including split system in the room which was definitely appreciated as it was pretty warm when I was there.

Loved staying here!! So comfortable and the restaurant food is PHENOMENAL!!! Big shout out to the chefs. The pool is also fab, did some laps in the morning.

The meal at restaurant both nights was great, my daughter and I really enjoyed our meals, plus nice staff thanks. Great room, had everything we needed!! It's nice looking out into garden, plus we had the cute Black & White cat at door for a wee pat :)

We liked the staff. Well the hotel room is old and dated. The room and bathroom were very clean. Plus the bed was very comfortable.
